Orlando Pirates will be on fire to try and reach their first final cup competition of the season

Orlando Pirates will be on fire to try and reach their first final cup competition of the season when their meet Bidvest Wits in the MTN8 semi-finals.

The MTN8 second leg semi-finals will be played on Saturday August 23 at Orlando Stadium in Dobsonville. Kick off time is 20:15.

“We have a buffer of 2-0 against Wits in the first leg of the semis, but don’t think this will keep them from attacking us,” said Head coach of the local based club at rand Stadium Vladimir Vermezovic, “We will go out and try to win the game.”

“Wits are s strong side and we can’t under estimate them. They have good players and young players who want to make a name for themselves,” said Daine Klate. “I should have put more goal in the back of the net, but will set my sights on their goalposts on Saturday.”

With only a few hours before this weekend’s MTN8 Semi-final first leg fixtures, the PSL can confirmed that tickets are still available.

Tickets can be purchased at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide. The ticket prices are as follows: R80 for the grand stand (Main stand – West Stand) and R40 for the rest of the stadium.

The MTN8 Semis first leg will be played on Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17.
