Power King to take his crown

The final leg of the Western Cape Winter Series gets under way this Saturday June 28 at Kenilworth Racecourse.

Make the most of the winter sunshine with family and friends; soak up the thrilling trackside action with leg three of the Winter Series, which sees the running of the highly contested Winter Derby and Winter Oaks as the features on the race card.

All eyes will be on Power King, who won the first two legs of the Cape’s Winter Series. Should the King take the third and final leg of the series, he will take home the R250 000 bonus cheque!

Activities on the day include a reduced price Winter Warmer buffet lunch at R180 per person in the Somerset Room.

The Onrus Art Gallery will join the activities on the course and display some of their finer pieces of art, which will be available for purchase. The gallery houses works by Stern, Gregoire, Buchner, Boshoff, Van Essche, Van Heerden, Wallace, Naude amongst other reputable names.
