HERBERT Park Bowls Club, 71 Turf Club Road, Turffontein, is hosting a fun day of bowls on April 27 (Freedom Day) from 08:30 to 09:00, with corner to corner at 08:15 – 08:45.
Entry fee is at R40 per player, inclusive of a light lunch and tea. Dress will be light casual, but with flat-soled shoes or bare foot. The amount of prize money will be determined by the amount of entries.
The day will be open for all, whether you are a bowler, novice or non-bowler, of all ages, especially the young. A jumping castle will be available for the kids. For more details contact Joybell on 082 707 0868.
Herbert Park Bowls Club further extend invitations to companies who would like to use the club’s facilities to hold their team building exercises, conferences, seminars at the club, and offer the use of the hall (seats 120 people) at a nominal fee, braai and bar facilities and bowls greens for a fun game of bowls, to relax after all the formalities are concluded. The objective would be to attract more members, and especially the younger generation to the game of bowls. The Club Manager can be contacted for more information.
