Union Bulldogs trails proved to be a huge success. The annual trials were held on the weekend of February 15.
Still in the beginning of the season a lot of players showed tremendous talent that is above average for February. In the junior trials some players showed their talent which can find them playing for the senior side.
This coming Saturday the match against Springs will be moved to Springs due to the Lions playing the Stormers at Ellispark. This will be the club’s only friendly before they take on the Lions seven-a-side tournament at Alberton on March 1 and 2.
Last year the Senior Union Bulldogs were the runners-up when they lost with one point against UJ in the dying second in the final.
Fixtures: On March 8 Union will play Silver Valke from Pretoria at home and on March 15 the club will take on the mighty Pretoria Police away, and on March 22 they will play Raiders at home, which is part of the Assupol Series.
