When is it ever going to end?
a) Rates and taxes increased by 8.10 per cent
b) Electricity increased by 8.52 per cent
c) Water increased by 9.00 per cent
d) Sanitation increased by 9.00 per cent
e) Refuse increased by 8.00 per cent
This constitutes an overall increase of 42.62 per cent on the consumer’s budget while the inflation rate is at present about 6 per cent. It is absolutely ridiculous! On top of the above another petrol price increase of 11 cents per litre!
Instead of budgeting for new aircraft, pay increases, bonuses, lavish lifestyle, etc. why does this inept government, if we can call it that, not think of its people on the ground who are battling to make ends meet?
