We are looking for information regarding a hit-and-run which took place on Saturday, October 3, at 07:05.
It involved Alan Foulds, a Superintendent from the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD), who was cycling on the Kaalfontein Road between Heidelberg and Drie Riviere, Vereeniging. The perpetrator was driving a silver Toyota Avanza and as the car hit him, the left side mirror was ripped off.Foulds sustained severe injuries to his pelvis, which was broken in two places, as well as three displaced vertebrae and he had to undergo surgery.
