I am a resident of Rosettenville for at least 10 years now. When I moved to this place it was safe, but now I even get scared to walk around the neighbourhood because of the crime.
I would like to advise people staying in Rosettenville to be vigilant at all times, because there is a group of men robbing people of their cellphones and snatching their handbags.
I actually witnessed this while I was driving in Haig Street. I saw three men robbing a man of his cellphone, this was on a Sunday. The next day I saw the same men snatching one lady’s handbag.
After snatching the lady’s bag, one of the men ran away and the crew pretended they were chasing him, but they were actually doing that to distract people from following them.
