Thank you City of Joburg

I wish to take this opportunity to thank City Power, Sicelo Xulu, Louis Pieterse, Sindy Mgikel and Numsa for their help in restoring power to my brother’s house in Turrfontein.

We were experiencing ongoing power outages, especially at night. The City Power team went out several times in the cold of the night to restore the power. Thank you to the team.

What I did observe is that no one reports the outages. If we could contact them, they come within an hour.

I believe the problem was not caused by City Power, but criminal elements.

Also I reported a blocked storm water drain to JRA on Monday August 25, this was cleared and cleaned on Tuesday August 26.

An appeal to all residents, please help by reporting problems and follow up with the City of Johannesburg. Be polite, it works.
