My family have lived in Robertsham for almost 20 years.
In this time we have had eight burglaries, two break-ins (which Booysens Police classify as malicious damage to property, because nothing was stolen since the alarm went off), two armed robberies while walking on the street, theft of a motor vehicle and theft out of motor vehicles, theft of the kids bicycles, etc.
The Booysens Police have never solved a single one. Every week the COURIER published the arrests and it is for minor offences targeting the soft targets. What I found most amusing recently was that the homeless sleeps diagonally across from the police station, and in the mornings relieve themselves in plain sight and comfort directly across from the police station on Booysens Road.
Yeah well…
