A white poodle was found on the corner of Koll and Napier Street, Forest Hill on February 25.

This frightened animal was being chased and bullied by kids playing in the street. It is definitely someone’s pet. If you think this is your dog/pet, please contact Mrs Kleynhans on 011 683 8118 or cell 081 888 7934. Please, no chancers. You will have to describe the dog to us first before we give out any more information.

We are appealing to all animal owners to please ensure their pets are kept in the yards and out of the streets. We see it on a daily basis, where dogs are going around eating out of rubbish bins etc. Also, too many cats are seen around. If you cannot afford to keep a pet, then don’t get one. These animals cannot talk for themselves and tell you when they are hungry, thirsty or scared. It just angers me to see animals being abused.
