I see crushed velvet is back in fashion. This was in fashion way back when I was in my late teens, yikes, I’m going to give my age away if I’m not careful. Well, it’s back again. I was never that keen on it the first time around, it always reminded me of curtains. So I doubt I’ll be investing in any clothing made from this fabric this season but I’m sure it will be a favourite with some of you.
Houndstooth and Prince of Wales check
Now, here’s a winner if it’s up to me. Very British and quite “royal”, houndstooth trousers and jackets, as well as dresses in Prince of Wales check, are in stock at Woolworths. So smart and perfect for the corporate woman who likes to make a great impression at the office.
