What is your fear?

There’s good and bad fear.

“Through every generation of the human race there has been a constant war – a war with fear. Those who have the courage to conquer it are made free and those who are conquered by it are made to suffer until they have the courage to defeat it or death takes them.” – Alexander the Great

Fear is the horse running around in your brain and if you don’t throw a saddle on it and ride it, it will kill you. Fear is the most subtle and the most destructive of all human diseases. Most people never develop the courage to defeat it and live their whole lives captured by it.

Let me share with you three things that changed my life:

1. Our lives are a gift from God and how we live them is our gift to God. This to me is not just merely reading the Bible every day, going to church every Sunday and telling everybody around how much I love Him but by developing myself to be a person of substance to make a positive difference and impact in the world.

2. “Never worry about the cost of a shovel when you’re digging for gold,” said property guru Mark Dalton. If you think education is expensive, try ignorance. Most people never develop themselves but hope for great things. Success is always looking for a great and warm place to stay; not an empty place.

3. There’s good and bad fear. Good fear keeps you focused, dedicated, looking forward to tomorrow with excitement and committed to your commitments. Bad fear, on the other hand, distracts you, makes you negative and steals your peace of mind and happiness. So, what is your fear? Mine is to die having never lived. It drives me to develop myself every day in order to make a positive impact in the world.
