Step into your greatness

You are a gift from God and how you live your life should be a gift to God!

“Life is like a grinding stone, it can polish you or pulverise you, depending on how you position yourself.” – Lary De Angelo.

If life is like a grinding stone that can either polish or pulverise you, then life is really about positioning yourself well.

Your position in life is determined by your paradigm. A paradigm is a multitude of habits stored in your subconscious mind. We all have phenomenal potential locked up within us; we have deep reservoirs of talent and ability that we can bring up to the surface. Our paradigm forms logic and this logic becomes the seal we keep banging against. It is this logic that creates limitations (lack of creativity) hence you find yourself or hear others saying, “What else can I do? Where else can I go? No one can help me; you know how people are, etc.”

Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay changed the logic that it was humanly impossible to reach the summit of Mount Everest, 8 850m high, to date thousands of others have since climbed the mountain. Roger Bannister changed the logic the world had about finishing a mile in less than four minutes, the world was sold to believe that it was humanly impossible to complete a mile in less than four minutes, but Roger changed all of that. There are so many other examples about the norms that were challenged resulting in a better world. Don’t get stuck living other people’s scripts. Your paradigm was mainly handed down to you by ‘your authorities or people you respected who had serious limitations themselves’; now you are the authority, challenge the norm.

You are a gift from God and how you live your life should be a gift to God!
