Stay true to yourself

I truly believe you are the special gift to this world, let's do this.

Life’s greatest heartbreak and regret is self-betrayal.

We are living in a world where there has never been so much seduction to be like everyone else. There has never been so much influence and hypnosis through social media, and society to talk in a certain way, walk in a certain way, buy certain things, and to measure your success by the same philosophy. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there’s no path and leave a trail.” These profound words have been deeply drowned by the media and society’s loud noise to fit in or conform.

There are two special moments in life. The first one is when you were born and the second one is when you discover your life’s purpose – your reason for being, which gives you a peace of mind and tranquility. Most people have gotten into a habit of accumulating material things and are still not happy (and will never be) and yet the happiest people are those who have found their life’s purpose. Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela are a few examples of those who found their life purpose.

Just listen to your heart, it will guide you and trust me on this. Don’t let the opinions of others, including social media drown your inner voice which is your only guiding light to your dreams and life purpose. It was my favourite Ralph Waldo Emerson who once again said, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is a greatest achievement.”

You are really special and unique, believe in your own specialness and you will connect with your inner peace. I truly believe you are the special gift to this world, let’s do this.
