AS autumn approaches the stores are filling up with more and more winter clothing and I see black, grey, white and red are huge this year. From boots, jerseys, dresses, skirts, scarves, gloves, hats and shoes, if any of these colours are your favourites, you’ll be able to find everything your heart desires!

David Jones Classic Collection at Woolworths is going to be one of my favourite fashion “go to’s” for beautiful timeless pieces, which offer the latest trends. Over the past few years Woolworths has brought in Country Road, Trennery and Witchery, all of them offering customers a new dimension of clothing. The David Jones collection is very well priced and I’m sure if you take a look, you, like me, will be impressed.
Mother’s Day
Just a reminder, Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 8. Next week I’ll give you some lovely gift ideas but for now, if you do intend treating your mom to dinner out the evening before or breakfast or lunch on the day itself, book now to avoid disappointment. I have to say when I’m taken out on Mother’s Day, restaurants are always full. And yes, full of happy people. It’s such a treat and this year I’m being taken out again, lucky me! Remember though if you’d still like to treat your mom to breakfast or lunch, but find the expense a bit much, all moms just love to be treated and appreciated, so a meal cooked for them specially, will go down a treat, especially if all the dishes and tidying up is done too!
Welcome to Comaro View Shopping Centre
It’s happening at last! The new Woolworths in Comaro View Shopping Centre, Bassonia is opening on Thursday, April 28, at 09:30 onwards.
Not only will you be able to buy all your favourites in food, but the new store will offer a select meat and bakery counter.
Tenants in the centre have been awaiting this store for quite some time now and my feeling is they will be extremely happy to welcome the new Woolworths store to the centre.
You can also expect more parking bays, always great news, and in the next few months the Woolworths coffee shop will be opening.
