Step into your greatness

When we are babies. one of the first things we are taught is to be careful. Be careful of the fire, be careful of the boiling water, and so on and so forth. This is where fear becomes the order of the day. We become so careful even if our lives won’t be endangered by the consequences. We become so careful even at the expense of our dreams.

To live your dreams means facing your fears head-on. You may have settled for a temporary happiness just to please your partner, friends, family, colleagues, employer and your neighbours, and you know deep within you that whatever you have settled for is a lie.

Start visualising yourself just a minute after you have achieved your dream or goal by using the following questions: Where will you be? Who will be there with you? What will you be wearing? Describe how you will be feeling? Create that situation in your mind and experience it, daily.

With this scenario in mind, you will have the willpower to snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat.You will have the power to deal with anything that prevents you from achieving the scenario you have created in your mind. You will be so surprised to find that what steals your dreams and hold you back is one or a combination of the following: too much time spent sleeping, too much time spent in front of the TV, too many negative friends, you have surrounded yourself with friends (always nursing your ego) always telling you what you want to hear and not what you need to hear, and the person you love so much whatever you call him or her can also a culprit.

I have just given you a clue of what price to pay in order to claim what rightfully belongs to you, your dreams. Make a sacrifice without any fear!
