Did you try out any of the snack recipes in last week’s Bag Lady? I put together a snack idea of my own and everyone said they were delicious.
Bacon wrapped fresh figs
Ingredients
1 packet of rindless streaky bacon
6 fresh figs
Rocket and baby tomatoes to decorate
Use double the amount for more guests.
Method
Cook the streaky bacon. I put it in the oven for 20 minutes on 200c. Slice the figs into four, put aside.
Once the bacon is cooked, wrap each slice around one slice of fig and secure with a cocktail stick. If you’d like to cook the bacon for a little longer return to the oven for 10 minutes.
Take a platter and cover round the edges with rocket leaves. Place the bacon and fig wraps in the middle of the platter and decorate with baby tomatoes.
Dry shampoo
I remember the dry shampoos of yesterday, yesteryear actually, and they were terrible. Rather like tipping a container of talcum powder over your head!
