Mulbarton Remedial School marks 20th anniversary with festive birthday bash

Learners, staff, and community members came together to honoUr 20 years of learning and growth at the school.

Mulbarton Remedial School (MRS) held a huge birthday party, complete with jumping castles, games, bubbles and balloons to celebrate their 20th year.

All the children and staff were invited to join in the fun. Many staff members received long service awards for 10, 15 and 20 years of excellence in their various fields.

Commemorative personalised mugs were given out to staff and the children each received a party pack and game. The mouth-watering cake was cut and cupcakes handed around at the end of the formal ceremony.

Principal Pat van In said: “The learners and educators all shared their experiences, reminiscing on exciting events and great successes with a picnic under our massive willow tree. As MRS, we look forward to the next 20 years.”
