Consider donating towards animal welfare

Let's get together to help our furry friends.

The JSPCA needs help with animal welfare and requires more donations from the public to look after so many abandoned and unwanted animals.

Animal welfare organisations try their best to make care accessible despite being low-funded NPOs. Donations help to prevent the suffering of animals and give them a second chance at life.

In South Africa, only a small percentage of the population and large corporations invest in animal welfare.

Businesses that invest in animal welfare send a powerful message to animal lovers. This can help inspire other corporations to contribute.

SPCA inspectors work tirelessly every day, responding to as many calls as possible and helping as many animals as they can, although without funding, this is almost impossible.

Donations help the SPCA pay for food, medication, fuel, beds and blankets. Contributions also help cover the huge electricity and water bills, that help keep the kennels clean.

The JSPCA can issue a donor a Section 18A tax certificate for donations received.

The funds will help cover expenses and enable them to provide much-needed services and care to animals.
