Foundation donates blankets to the community

Mama Monicca Foundation wants every day to be a Mandela Day.

Mama Monicca Foundation NPO has been tirelessly serving the local community by providing essential items such as food, blankets, toiletries, and other necessities.

Their efforts have been focused on supporting the fight against drug abuse, a critical cause that aligns with the values of Mandela Day.

Unfortunately, the organisation from South Hills has lost its previous sponsors due to the challenges posed by Covid-19 and load-shedding. Despite these setbacks, they continue to demonstrate their commitment to the community.

On July 18 they managed to secure a donation of blankets from Adock Ingram and they managed to distribute these across different organisations and communities.

They donated blankets to the Grade 12 learners at Diversity High School in South Hills. As part of their community outreach initiative, they believe that providing warmth and comfort during the colder months is essential, especially for learners who are preparing for their final exams.

Make every day a Mandela Day by contacting them on info@mamamoniccafoundation.org.za or 076 170 4952.

Smart Start Centre also received blankets.
