Community initiative assists multitudes in Joburg south

Mall of the South joined hands with SOJO Business and Tourism Helping Hands Foundation to make a difference to those in need.

Mall of the South, as part of its ongoing Help Thy Neighbour community initiative, partnered with SOJO Business and Tourism Helping Hands Foundation to connect and support communities on July 18 at The Momos Upliftment Centre.

The impactful event assisted over a thousand underserved individuals in the south of Johannesburg, providing essential services and support.

Participants were offered a hot meal, a warm shower, haircuts, basic clinic services, clothing packs, toiletries, blankets, and for those in need, substance abuse and spiritual counselling.
