In the ongoing battle against GBV, community support plays a pivotal role in providing assistance to survivors and combating this pervasive issue.
One organisation at the forefront of this fight is the Epic Foundation, dedicated to providing comfort and aid to those affected by GBV.
Over the past year, the Epic Foundation has distributed more than 5 000 comfort packs to GBV survivors, offering essential items to support them during challenging times. However, the organisation faces significant challenges in securing funding and sourcing toiletry items for these packs.
Despite tireless efforts, traditional outreach methods have proven insufficient in securing the necessary resources. As a result, the Epic Foundation is turning to the community for support, seeking assistance from manufacturers of toiletry items, hotel toiletries, underwear, stationery, bags, and similar items.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of GBV survivors. By contributing to the Epic Foundation’s efforts, community members can directly impact the lives of those affected by GBV, providing much-needed support and comfort.
