Mondeor SAPS hosts inspiring talk at Kibler Park Secondary School

SAPS Mondeor collaborated with the junior commissioners to welcome Grade Eight students to Kibler Park High School, where they held a talk on bullying and peer pressure for 150 young minds seeking guidance and support.

JHB South District Mondeor SAPS held an event at Kibler Park High School to welcome Grade Eight learners and conduct talks on bullying and peer pressure as part of their induction day on January 16.

The event involved junior commissioners, the Mondeor social crime coordinator and stakeholders, and successfully reached out to 150 learners.

Sergeant Sibongile Mnguni of Mondeor SAPS said the talks aimed at addressing important issues such as bullying and peer pressure. They focused on engaging the newly welcomed Grade Eight learners and empowering them to make positive choices in the face of these challenges.

“The involvement of junior commissioners and stakeholders highlighted the community’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for young people.

“By organising this event, we demonstrated our proactive approach to engaging with the youth and addressing key social issues.

“Overall, the event was a valuable opportunity for the learners to gain insights and guidance on navigating the challenges of adolescence. It also underscored the commitment of the JHB South District SAPS Mondeor to the well-being of the youth in the community,” said Mnguni.
