Urgent plea for donations to keep dogs’ tummies full

The Johannesburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) issues a desperate call for donations as their dog food stocks reach a critical low.

The Johannesburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA) has issued an urgent plea for donations to replenish their dwindling food supplies.

The organisation, dedicated to the welfare and care of animals, is facing a critical shortage of food, particularly for their canine companions.

The JSPCA storerooms, typically stocked with various brands and flavours of dog food, are now running dangerously low. This shortage jeopardises the organisation’s ability to feed the dogs that rely on their care.

How to help:

If you would like to make a difference in the lives of these animals, you can help by:

1. Donate dog food: Drop off any brand or flavour of dog food at the JSPCA at 5 Benray Road, Reuven, Johannesburg.

2. Monetary donations: They also welcomed monetary contributions to purchase food supplies.

3. Spread the word: Share this message with friends, family, and social networks to raise awareness and encourage more donations.

4. Volunteer: Consider volunteering your time and skills to support the JSPCA.

The JSPCA is counting on the community to help ensure that no dog goes hungry.
