Willy Sekano (49) received 15 years imprisonment from magistrate Habib at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on July 1.
He was charged with robbery with aggravating circumstances. When the trial started, he pleaded not guilty.
On October 6, 2023, near Forest Hill, he assaulted someone and took a smartphone, threatening the complainant with a knife.
In terms of section 103 Act 60 of 2000, Sekano was declared unfit to possess a firearm.
