Kleave van Staden briefly appeared before magistrate Habib at the Booysens Magistrate’s Court on June 21.
He was found guilty of murdering his wife Jamillah at the same court on June 7.
His defence attorney Munyai confirmed the allocation of a probation officer, Thato Modise. She is allocated to the case and the report and sentencing are set to be on August 1.
The prosecutor for the case, Bikwa, is leaving Booysens Magistrate’s Court for North West and he will be replaced by Hlongwane moving forward.
