JMPD arrests stolen motorcycle driver in Glenvista

The JMPD’s Tactical Response Unit quickly found a stolen motorbike during a recent operation on the corner of Burger and Swartgoud streets in Glenvista.

The JMPD’s Tactical Response Unit recently received information about a stolen motorcycle and went to the given location on Burger and Swartgoud Streets, Glenvista, where they successfully recovered the vehicle.

Superintendent Xolani Fihla, the JMPD spokesperson, said officers arrested the driver for being in possession of a stolen vehicle and detained him at the Mondeor SAPS.

“This successful operation is part of the ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to address vehicle theft and related crimes in the region. It underscores the importance of proactive policing and the collaboration between the community and the police in combating crime.

“The recovery of the stolen motorcycle and the driver’s arrest sends a strong message that we will not tolerate criminal activities, and the perpetrators will be held accountable for their actions.
