JMPD’s Tactical Response Unit successfully recovered a stolen white Toyota Quantum linked to an Eldorado Park case.
According to the spokesperson of JMPD, Superintendent Xolani Fihla, after receiving a complaint in Eldorado Park, the unit was able to locate and retrieve the stolen car.
“The incident began with a report of a stolen White Toyota Quantum, prompting the JMPD Tactical Response Unit to swing into action. The vehicle in question was sought in connection with a case in Eldoradopark, prompting heightened attention to its recovery.
“The Tactical Response Unit’s diligent efforts culminated in the recovery of the stolen Toyota Quantum at the intersection of R554 and R82 in Eikenhof.
“Upon successfully locating the stolen vehicle, the Tactical Response Unit acted promptly to seize it. The recovered Toyota Quantum was then booked into evidence at the Lenasia SAPS pound,” said Fihla.
