The gym’s aerobics instructor, Mxolisi Thango, said: “The event comprised our members and non-members taking part in our aerobics and cardio workout sessions. We aimed the event at promoting healthy living to communities.”

He said they went the extra mile to host the event, as they kept the class going for longer than usual.
“Aerobics normally takes about an hour, but today we went on for more than an hour. Hence, the workout session is called a marathon,” Thango said.

The gym manager, Meis Pelzer, thanked everyone’s involvement for their unwavering support, as well as the accounts manager, Nicky Delaney, for her contribution to the gym.
