New kids on the block are ready for the new year

Staff and learners of Alberton Stars Private School are prepared for the new academic year.

The newly established New Redruth school, Alberton Stars Private School, welcomed its learners for the new academic year.

Lenda Sibanyoni-Muzei from the school said their vision is to ensure children are enriched and that they learn in a proper way.

“We are not looking for big classes and not be the biggest school in the block, but having the minimum learners who will get proper education and produce the best results,” she said.

The school’s Grade R phased in late last year and this year the learners progressed to Grade One, Two and Three.

They are also looking at phasing in new grades at the beginning of each academic year.
