Cobras Shotokan Karate Club wins 13 medals in Pretoria
The Cobras Shotokan Karate Club from the neighbourhood recently competed in the All Styles kata competition and won 13 medals.
The Cobras Shotokan Karate Club from Alberton participated in the All Styles Kata competition in Pretoria.
The club brought back 13 medals (five gold, five silver and three bronze).
Medal winners were Sinenhlanhla Mbatha (bronze), Riley Gouws (silver), Erinique Moodley (bronze), Sahara Peel (silver), Mbasa Ntini (silver), Aiden Watson (gold), Hayley Peel (gold), Tyron dos Santos (gold), Waydon Joemath (silver), Payton Watson (gold) and Alexcia Andrade (gold).
The club practices on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 17:30 to 18:30 (for beginners) and 18:30 to 19:30 (for advanced classes) at 19 Heidelberg Avenue, Newmarket.
