Heavy rainfall creates electrical trench in South Crest

Heavy rainfall in Gauteng creates an electrical trench in South Crest.

Heavy rainfall at the beginning of the year in Gauteng left the South Crest community with a trench of electrical cables on Voortrekker Road.

According to a vendor, who sells his goods next to the trench, when he left in December for his holidays the place was fine but when he came back in February the place was dug up.

The trench also left the pavement near the trench in a bad state with pavement bricks falling into the trench and other rubbish ending up into it.

According to Ward 106 Clr Tim Denny, he was not aware of the matter and will closely monitor the situation.
