Alberton indoor cricket boys bag their first provincial colours

After three months of practice as an established indoor cricket club, the Southern Gauteng Stingers U11 boys received their provincial colours title.

Meyersdal Action Sports Arena hosted the 2022 Inter-Provincial Indoor Cricket Tournament for the Little League IPT from June 25 to 29.

The Southern Gauteng Stingers, popularly known as Stingers, a team made up of 11 boys from Alberton, competed in the U11 division.

After numerous games in the tournament, the Stingers advanced to the finals. They played a nail-biting final game against the Mpumalanga U11 team.
