Marist Brothers celebrate Champagnat Day

Marist Brothers Linmeyer celebrated the life and work of the school’s founder, St Marcellin Champagnat, with a Champagnat Day Mass on June 6.

This was the first time since 2019 that it was celebrated by all the teachers and learners in the high school quad.

Father David Dryden SJ along with visiting priests from neighbouring parishes celebrated the mass.

Afterwards, the whole school took part in the launch of the Team Marist fun walk/run.

All the funds raised from the walk will go towards a bursary fund and the Marist Mercy Care charity organisation.
