Two women still held in custody for murder of Ryan Mutinzi

Ryan Mutinzi's case was further postponed to May 31 and moved from courtroom nine to 13, while the suspects remain in custody.

After appearing in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court for the fifth time, the two women accused of murdering the six-year-old Ryan Mutinzi were still ruled to remain in custody.

Desiree and Lungile Ndebele’s case was postponed because of the court hankering to validate their legality.

According to the prosecutor of courtroom nine, the Department of Home Affairs acknowledged Senzeni as a full citizen of South Africa, however, Lungile was confirmed as an immigrant and not in the system.

The suspects are expected to appear again before court on May 31. On the day of their appearance, the court will process their bail applications.

Ryan Mutinzi’s murder case adjourned for further investigation
