Join The Soil live in concert at Emperors Palace

The Soil is hosting two nights of musical extravaganza at the Emperors Palace on June 24 to 25.

The multi-platinum selling three-piece acapella group, The Soil, will take the audience on a stunning storytelling journey at Emperors Palace’s Theatre of Marcellus on June 24 and 25.

The Soil comprises music that combines contemporary township beats with an interesting collection of musical genres including jazz, hip-hop, Afro-pop and soul.

Buhle Mda, Luphindo Ngxanga and Ntsika Fana Ngxanga are members of the lively group from Soweto.

Their passion for their motherland and its rich culture is the driving factor behind their utterly beautiful songs and distinct sound.

The show starts at 20:00 but the doors open at 19:00.

Buhle said they are armed with beautiful songs from their upcoming album and tracks from their earlier work, so be ready to be taken down memory lane, Kasi-style. They intend to travel with the audience through songs and narrate the journey from where it all began until now.

“We have all grown as individuals and have delivered solo work too, so we’ll share a little bit of my and Ntsika’s solo work. We’ve come a long way and these shows will celebrate slices of every chapter,” said Buhle.

Tickets from R180 are now available from Ticketpro.

Come dressed Kofifi-style and stand a chance to win a prize for best dressed.
