JMPD gives award to Scientology Volunteers Ministers

To date the Scientology Volunteer Ministers claimed to have sanitised 68 000 buildings and spend a total of 1.3 million hours helping communities.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers recently received a reward from the JMPD for the work they have done during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The organisation helped the JMPD to help with sanitising their buildings and the vehicles since the lockdown started in March 2020. The award was handed over by the chief of the JMPD, Angie Mokasi during the event at the headquarters for the JMPD.

Mokasi said, “You have been with us since the very beginning. We have depended on you and in sometimes desperate times have called on you for assistance. You were always there, ready and willing. We as the JMPD would not be where we are if it were not for your tireless assistance throughout the pandemic.”

The award is a once in a lifetime award given to the Scientology Volunteer Ministers for the work they have tirelessly done to save countless lives during the pandemic.

The award was a pair of standard-issue JMPD boots, with the JMPD logo on them, bronzed and mounted with a plate that states: “Awarded to L Ron Hubbard and the Scientology Volunteer Ministers. You have sought neither honour, nor glory, but have earned it through your courageous efforts.

“Throughout 2020 and 2021, you have been the boots on the ground marching beside us and you were with us in our darkest hour, during the 2021 unrest, working to rebuild the nation.

“You have not wavered in your goal to assist the people of Johannesburg and the officers working on the frontline and have saved countless lives. Let these boots be a symbol of our gratitude for your dedicated service and our continued partnership. We thank you.”

Mandy Pelser, a representative for Scientology Volunteer Ministers said, “I am brought to tears by what JMPD has done for us today, this is motivating for us and gives us the strength to carry on. The pandemic has taken its toll on the country but I am happy that we are playing our part in keeping our nation safe.”

Mokasi ended the ceremony by saying they are will continue to work with the Scientology Volunteer Ministers and she is looking forward to the partnership.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers has spent the last 649 days of the lockdown helping with decontamination, education and skills development.

To date, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers claimed to have sanitised 68 000 buildings and spend a total of 1.3 million hours helping communities.
