Johannesburg Water provides tankers

Stationary water tanks will be placed at several locations in the south of Johannesburg.

Johannesburg Water has provided mobile and stationary water tankers in anticipation of the Brixton, Hursthill and Crossby reservoirs being affected by the Rand Water outage from November 15 to November 17.

Eleanor Mavimbela, the spokesperson for Johannesburg Water, said, “The supply to Rahima Moosa Hospital and Helen Joseph Hospital will be provided through an alternate feed to ensure that these critical customers are catered for during the outage.

“Johannesburg Water will provide water to other affected areas as the water supply is reduced through mobile water tankers. We are receiving regular updates from Rand Water on the progress made at their site.”

Stationary water tanks will be placed at the following locations in the south of Johannesburg:

• Cnr Kenneth Gardens Avenue and Summer Avenue (Kibler Park Clinic)

• Bellavista Road and Busshau Road (Bellavista Clinic)

• Cnr Harrismith street and Estantia Avenue (South Hills Clinic)

• Cnr Friars Hill Road and Hekla Road (South Rand Hospital)

• Cnr West Turffontein Road and Turf Club Street (Bellavista Old Age Home)

• Cnr Tirae Drive and Ring Road (Crown Gardens Old Age Home)

• Cnr Ulster Crescent and Mourne Avenue (Crown Gardens Clinic)

• View Street Informal Settlement (Booysens)

• Eloff Street Informal Settlement ( Booysens)

• Henderson Road (Roseacre)

• Cnr Kitty Street and Donald Street (Chrisville)

• Cnr Third Street and Landsbourough Street (Southdale)

• No 7 Data Crescent (Gold Reef City)

• No 1524 Lakewood Terrence (Ormonde).
