Donating blood can save three lives

The team from Caxton Joburg South visited the Alberton Blood Donor Center in Alberton City on November 3 to do our part in helping others by donating blood.

According to the SANBS website, the bloodstock is at just three days. The minimum level for the country to have adequate stock is when they have five days of bloodstock available.

The Joburg South branch felt with the low levels we would join together as an office to go and donate together, both previous donors as well as some first-time donors.

“It makes me so proud to be part of a team that pulls together like this to make a difference,” said branch manager Natalie Maree.

“Giving blood saves lives and we encourage everyone out there who can donate to go and do the same.”

Caxton Joburg South would like to ask all residents who are able and willing to donate blood to visit their nearest donor centre and donate blood, platelets or plasma.

Your donation could save the life of three people.
