The police have opened a case of attempted murder after a victim was shot at 51 Eastwood Road, corner President Street, Turffontein on October 28.
Booysens SAPS spokesperson Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said the victim was shot at by unknown people.
“There is no motive for the attack at this stage as the investigating officer is still collecting details. A large number of empty cartridges of the rifle were found at the scene.
“No arrests have been made. The victim was taken to hospital by an ambulance for treatment,” she said.
