WATCH: Glenvista High School hall set on fire by learners

The school learners are now writing exams outside.

Glenvista High School learners set the school hall on fire on August 16.

 

According to reports, the incident occurred because they refused to write their preliminary exams.

It is alleged Grade 10 learners started the fire. The learners who have been identified are being dealt with by the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE).

The CHRONICLE confirmed the matter with the school, who said the investigation was ongoing.
