Johannesburg Flying Squad successful arrests

A 9mm Arcus with ammunition, which was discharged in a public area, was booked in at Mondeor SAPS.

From April 9 to 12, Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested six suspects for different crimes in different areas in Johannesburg and recovered a firearm.

Among the six suspects arrested, two were for discharging a dangerous weapon in a public area, one for possession of stolen property and three for possession of drugs.

Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer Raymond Sambo said investigations continue in all cases.
“Working with the community led to these recoveries.

The SAPS appreciates the public for its contribution. It should also be noted that for any information regarding the vehicles, people may contact the relevant detective with the relevant case number.

“The six suspects appeared in different magistrate’s courts, facing charges of discharging a dangerous weapon, possession of stolen property and possession of drugs,” he said.
