In honour of Mandela Day, the Brackenhurst Veterinary Hospital in conjunction with Southside Steri’s will be sterilising 67 dogs or cats.
Mandela Day, on July 18, is a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact.
The plan is to sterilise 67 pets from the Jacksons Drift informal settlement over July.
Residents can help by sponsoring a steri, donating a bag of food, bed or blanket. Those who rather want to make a financial donation can pay the donation into the Brackenhurst Veterinary Hospital’s FNB bank account. The account number is 594 1002 0398; use ‘Mandela Month’ as your reference.
