Booysens Police communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik confirmed an attempted armed robbery in Turffontein on May 2.
She said the victim is in a stable condition and he was taken to hospital.

“Occupants shot the owner of Guardian Angel Security in Bishop Street Turffontein. Paramedics on scene and patient receiving treatment after being shot in the arm and stomach.
