Johannesburg SPCA trainee inspector Chris Bester was involved in a serious accident on April 28.
In a statement released by JSPCA, they said they had a very traumatic end to the day shift.
“Trainee Inspector, Chris Bester has been involved in a serious accident. Chris has been assessed by ER24, he is stable, has head trauma, and was taken to hospital in the ambulance.

“Thankfully he had no animals in the vehicle. We know that we can count on our loyal supporters to keep him in your thoughts during his recovery. We will update you as soon as we know more.”
The COURIER contacted JSPCA, and Liana Marx from JSPCA said, “Yes, sadly he was in an accident. He was discharged and is on pain medication and resting at home.”
