Motorists whose driver’s licences expire during lockdown should not fear.
The validity for learner’s licences, driver’s licences, motor vehicle licence disks, temporary permits, professional driving permits and roadworthy certificates will be extended for a further grace period of 30 days from the date of expiry of a lockdown period.

The validity of a motor trade number licence during the lockdown will be extended for a further grace period of six months from the date of expiry of a lockdown period.
Driving licence and vehicle testing centres will remain closed during the lockdown.
