Surprise farewell party for Julie Maule

"You’ve all become very special to me and I’m going to truly miss you all,” said Julie.

Circle of Friends hosted a surprise farewell party for Julie Maule (news editor Comaro Chronicle) on March 17, St Patrick’s Day at one of the members’ homes.

All the members wore something green for St Patrick’s Day and even the farewell cake was iced in green icing.

“We can’t even begin to tell you how much you are going to be missed. Over the years, you’ve attended our meetings we have become so fond of you and you’ve always gone out of your way to be there for us all,” said Glynis MacPherson. “We wish you safe travels and we know you’ll make as many friends over in England as you have made here.”

Julie was presented with a beautiful gift and a well-wishing card signed by all the members.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful party and for your friendships. You’ve all become my friends and I’m going to truly miss you all,” said Julie.
