Those who attended also had the opportunity to showcase and show off their beautifully pimped cars while some got a chance to witness some of the finest custom-made cars.
Most of these cars had some of the best-fitted sound, luxury rims, interior decorations and top-notch engine.
The revving of accelerators was the theme of the day and all cars had their own unique modifications.
One of the event organisers, Pervez Singh, said the purpose of the event was to showcase the south region in a positive light.
“Most iconic events are normally hosted in the north as it is seen more favourably. But, the reception here was lovely and we will continue to host such events,” said Singh.
“The south deserves to been seen in a positive light. It is the most economical and socially diverse region in the whole of Johannesburg and a true melting pot of culture.
“It’s only appropriate we showcase this region for its rich and positive history,” said Singh.
