Die Fakkel High School scooped an award for a sufficient pass rate improvement at the Johannesburg central district awards ceremony on January 31 in Lenasia.
For the 2019 academic year, the school showed a pass rate improvement of 17 per cent.
The award was received by the school’s principal, Morgan Radebe.
Radebe told the COURIER he felt honoured to have received such an award and all this was accomplished through the hard work of learners, staff and parents.
