A South Hills’ mother of four wishes to thank everyone who helped her when she was down.
A letter was published in the COURIER where she asked help for herself and her four daughters.
Some people reached out to help her.
Serika Ramsaru from Brackendowns offered a box full of clothes, sanitary towels, a kettle and other children’s stuff while Lumu Community Based Organisation from Turffontein supported her with vegetables and fruit.

Others have offered her part-time jobs to make ends meet.
“Thank you to all who helped me in times of desperation; I really appreciate each and every one of you.
“I have received all the goods that were collected by Southern COURIER. Thank you to the COURIER and to all who opened their hearts,” she said.
